The novel tells the story of the fate of two brothers - a famous journalist and a thief in law. In the early nineties, they experience, each in their own way, the difficulties of that time. The demon, as one of the brothers is called in criminal circles, is fighting in the sun after his return from prison with thieves who have seized all the profitable places. His unemployed brother is tormented by the fact that he cannot find a worthy occupation for himself. The novel has everything: love, betrayal, disappointment and painful thoughts. By and large, the novel is not even about the gang wars themselves, but about those people who, one way or another, became hostages of that difficult time.
