Alexander Sergeevich Pushkin (1799–1837) is the greatest Russian poet, playwright and prose writer. His immense creative heritage made an invaluable contribution to the development of world literature and culture. Everything was subject to his pen: philosophical, civil, love lyrics, translations, imitations of the ancients, satirical genres, including epigrams... However, it is believed that it was in poetry that Pushkin’s genius, values and ideals of the poet were most clearly reflected. As a poet, he achieved in his work extraordinary lightness, sophistication and accuracy of expression of thought. This publication includes poems, dramatic works, poems, novels, stories, stories, fairy tales. The spelling adopted in this edition largely corresponds to modern standards. At the same time, however, some characteristic features of Pushkin’s language are preserved.
