"Praise of Folly" is a philosophical work of Wilhelm Erasmus of Rotterdam, known as Erasmus, a Dutch humanist and theologian. The author criticizes the social, religious and political problems of his time, expressing his opinion about their solution. The book tried to show that stupidity is not always a negative trait, but can be a source of creativity and creation of new ideas. "Praise of Stupidity" remains a relevant work to this day, reminding readers of the importance of self-criticism and a creative approach to solving problems.
