Color revolutions very clearly prove to us that effective technologies for managing a society built on technology are possible. The standard methodology is applicable to such seemingly different nations as Georgian, Ukrainian, Kyrgyz. From my own experience, I know that encouraging a person to part with money is often more difficult than convincing him to part with his life. And if the consumer society has long ago developed effective incentives for purchasing goods, the more effective are the incentives for electing a president. It is no more difficult to lure us to the square than to the supermarket. After all, multinational companies organize new needs for us every day. Ten years ago, we had no idea that we could not exist without a mobile phone. Just a year ago we had no idea that fair elections were our vital necessity. Georgy Pocheptsov’s attempt to systematize the methodology of color “revolutions” is extremely interesting (since it is a fundamental work) and a little funny: as if white laboratory mice were trying to systematize the methodology of experiments. p>
