Adherents of black magic, which captured Kontovar many years ago, are preparing an attack on another continent, Norfressa, inhabited by intelligent races. The last surviving white wizard from the distant past, Vensit, is amassing strength to repel evil. To do this, he embarks on a deadly journey to the south in order to obtain a powerful sword that he once left in the underground labyrinth he created and put it into the hands of a direct descendant of the emperors.
