Книга "Тонка праця" переносить читача в атмосферу Лондона другої половини ХІХ століття, де переплітаються життя двох абсолютно різних дівчат — Сью Тріндер та юної спадкоємиці багатого маєтку. Ця історія про дружбу, відвагу та пошук свого місця в світі вражає своєю емоційною глибиною та динамічним сюжетом. Автор майстерно передає атмосферу бідного кварталу, де кожен день — це боротьба за виживання, а також контраст з життям багатих людей, які живуть у своєму замкнутому світі. Хоча переклад тексту іноді має недоліки, це не заважає насолоджуватися чудовою історією. Я б рекомендував цю книгу всім, хто любить захоплюючі пригоди з елементами драми та романтики!
