Автор детально розкриває складний та багатогранний конфлікт між Тевтонським орденом, Великим князівством Литовським та Польським королівством, що тривав протягом кількох століть. Особливо вражає опис Великої війни, що завершилася знаковою битвою при Грюнвальді, де відбувся розгром орденської армії. Акунов не лише подає факти, але й вміло аналізує причини та наслідки цих подій, що робить книгу не лише інформативною, але й захопливою. Хоча текст перекладено з використанням штучного інтелекту, і в деяких місцях можуть бути незначні недоліки в перекладі, це не зменшує загальної цінності книги.
