The textbook presents material on the history of Ancient Greece, studied by students of historical specialties at universities in the course “History of the Ancient World”. The civilizational approach to covering the development of the ancient Greek world allows us to talk in a new way about many historical phenomena, about various aspects of the life of ancient Greek society. The presentation of the material and the dating of events are based on the latest scientific developments. Each chapter provides basic source study and historiographical information and lists literature on the topic.
