Автор майстерно створює напружену атмосферу, де кожен персонаж має свої мотиви та цілі, що робить їх надзвичайно реалістичними. Відносини між Гвіннедом, Меарою та архієпископом Едмундом Лорісом наповнені емоціями, які змушують читача переживати за долю героїв. Хоча текст перекладено за допомогою штучного інтелекту, і в деяких місцях є незначні недоліки, загальна якість перекладу не заважає насолоджуватися цим епічним твором.
