The collection of articles offered to the attention of readers is devoted to such topical problems as the growth of nationalism, hate crimes, and counteraction to these phenomena by the state and society. The first part of the collection summarizes the results of monitoring the illegal activities of national- radicals and sanctions for these actions by law enforcement agencies; the effectiveness of existing legislation is analyzed and ways of reforming it are proposed.
