The novel “The Infanta” is the twenty-first novel in the wonderful “History of Poland” series. It takes the reader back to the short reign of Henry of Valois (1572–1575) in Poland. The main character of the novel is Anna Jagiellonka, the last princess of the Jagiellonian family. Her unhappy life, struggle for power, love for Henry, hopes and dreams are masterfully outlined in this book, which truly belongs to the hand of a master.

Вражаюча історія про силу та слабкість
Роман "Інфанта" – це справжня перлина в серії "Історія Польщі", яка переносить читача в епоху, коли Польща переживала складні часи політичних інтриг та особистих драми. Ганна Ягеллонка, як головна героїня, постає перед нами не лише як принцеса, але й як жінка, що бореться за своє місце у світі, сповненому зрад і амбіцій. Автор майстерно передає глибину її переживань, мрій і надій, що робить її образ живим і зрозумілим для читача. Хоча переклад тексту в цілому якісний, деякі моменти можуть бути трохи заплутаними через недосконалість технології, але це не зменшує загального враження від книги. Я б рекомендував цей роман всім, хто цікавиться історією, політикою та людськими стосунками, адже він відкриває нові грані відомих історичних подій і персонажів. Читання "Інфанти" – це не лише подорож у минуле, але й глибоке занурення в емоційний світ героїні, яка, незважаючи на всі труднощі, залишається символом сили та стійкості.
