Søren Kierkegaard (1813–1855) is an outstanding Danish philosopher and theologian, writer, predecessor of modern existentialism, who influenced the work of many figures of Russian and Western European culture. This edition includes Kierkegaard’s ethical treatises “Fear and Trembling”, “The Concept of Fear”, “Fear of Death”, which seem to be the most important for understanding his worldview, imbued with paradox, mystical sentiments and subtle psychologism in understanding the moral principles of man.
