"Mopra" is a peculiar interweaving of the features of a historical novel and a novel of education, a psychological novel and an adventure novel. The most pressing socio-political and moral problems are raised using historical material. One of the main motives of the novel “Uskok” is a polemic with Byron’s oriental poems, an attempt to remove the veil of attractiveness and charm from vice, and to debunk the Byronic hero.

Книга "Мопра. Ускок" вразила мене своєю глибиною та багатогранністю. Автор майстерно поєднує елементи історичного роману, психологічної драми та пригодницької повісті, що робить читання неймовірно захоплюючим. Історичний контекст, в якому розгортаються події, дозволяє глибше зрозуміти суспільно-політичні проблеми, які залишаються актуальними і сьогодні. Особливо вразила полеміка зі східними поемами Байрона, яка змушує переосмислити традиційні уявлення про героїзм та моральність. Хоча текст перекладено за допомогою штучного інтелекту, і в деяких місцях зустрічаються незначні недоліки, це не заважає загальному враженню від книги. Я б рекомендував "Мопра" всім, хто цінує літературу, що спонукає до роздумів і відкриває нові горизонти в розумінні людської природи.
