The book includes five large cycles - books of poetry: “The Book of Exodus”, “Khadjuraho - The Book of Love”, “Requiem for a Father among Unpainted Pictures”, “France. Fresco", "Russian Gospel". In the "Book of Exodus", using the example of variations on Old Testament themes and the use of ancient earthly symbolism, an attempt is made to comprehend the eternal tragedy of the world and the strength of the human spirit. The combination of human love with the power of Being is the flavor of the book "Khajuraho". For the first time in Russian poetry, Kryukova brightly, boldly, picturesquely depicts the beauty and drama of living Eros, which earned Yevgeny Yevtushenko the description of “the last poet of passion” (“Strophes of the Century”, M., 1995). The artist’s daughter, Kryukova created a poetic monument to Russian artists - painters and his father, artist Nikolai Kryukov, in the book “Requiem for a father among unpainted paintings.” “France. Fresco" is a sparkling gem-like hymn to beautiful France, with which the poet has long-standing ties - France, for many years, has been a source of inspiration for Kryukova and her husband, the famous artist Vladimir Fufachev. "Russian Gospel" is a large-scale poetic fresco, every fragment which is a gospel story transferred to Russian, Slavic soil. The life, death and resurrection of the “Russian Christ” originate from the ancient “Pigeon Book”, from the “Russian Crucifixion” from “Andrei Rublev” by A. Tarkovsky, from Tyutchevsky: “... all of you, dear land, the King of Heaven came out in a slave form, blessing..." Excerpts from Kryukova's "Russian Gospel" were published in the magazine "Friendship of Peoples" and in the "Literary Gazette". The author boldly equates myth and life, rising from the interpretation of ancient myths of the Earth to modern social generalizations. The undeniable temperament of the poet gives the book dynamism, tension and relief of emotions. A pictorial metaphor does not blind the reader to the sharpness of thought.
