Книга охоплює не лише жертви, але й героїзм, самопожертву та незламний дух людей, які пережили ці важкі часи. Хоча автор зазначає, що не може охопити всі події, він все ж таки створює яскраву картину життя євреїв у СРСР, що робить цю книгу цінним джерелом для всіх, хто цікавиться історією. Незважаючи на деякі недоліки в перекладі, загальна якість тексту залишається високою, а зміст книги вартий уваги. Рекомендую всім, хто хоче дізнатися більше про цю важливу сторінку історії.
