The novel “The Death of a Gerontologist” tells the story of Israeli residents, natives of the country and repatriates from different parts of the world, including former Russian Jews settling in this land. The author is a former Moscow writer and screenwriter, his previous books were “filled” Russian themes and observations from earlier times. It took many years to “free myself” from previous topics and write about what was happening in the land of Israel. The novel "The Death of a Gerontologist" is the first literary work in which the author's view is already "from the inside", the view of a former Moscow Jew who has seen a lot and many on this earth, grieved with everyone and rejoiced, gained experience with knowledge and suffered losses, waited for his grandchildren who were born in Israel.
