Цей збірник "П'ятдесят дві історії" став для мене справжнім відкриттям. Відомі перекладачі Річард Певір і Лариса Волохонська майстерно передали дух оригіналу, що дозволяє читачеві зануритися в атмосферу Росії XIX століття. Кожне оповідання – це маленька історія, що відображає різноманітність людських переживань, від комічних ситуацій до глибоких філософських роздумів. Я був вражений, як Чехов вміє зобразити простих людей з їхніми радощами і горем, надіями і розчаруваннями. Особливо сподобалися ті оповідання, які раніше не перекладалися, адже це дало можливість побачити нові грані його таланту. Хоча в тексті іноді зустрічаються некоректні фрази через використання штучного інтелекту для перекладу, це не заважає насолоджуватися чудовою літературою. Рекомендую цю книгу всім, хто цінує якісну прозу і хоче дізнатися більше про генія Чехова!
