The fifth volume of A. Averchenko’s works includes stories from the collections “Crucian carp and pike” (1917), “Occult sciences” (1917), “Miracles in a sieve” (1918), “Evil spirits” (1920), “Children "(1922), "The Boiling Cauldron" (1922). The volume also included the story “Pokhodtsev and Two Others” (1917) and the most famous book of the emigrant period of Averchenko’s work, “A Dozen Knives in the Back of the Revolution” (1921).The text of the book was translated from the original language using an artificial intelligence program.
