The third volume of A. Averchenko’s works includes the collections “Stories for Convalescents” (1912), “Black and White” (1913), “About Essentially Good People” (1914), as well as stories from “Cheap Humorous libraries of “Satyricon” and “New Satyricon” (1910–1914). A significant part of the stories included in the volume are published in our country for the first time since 1917. The text of the book was translated from the original language using an artificial intelligence program. For the most part, the translation of the text is of very high quality, but in some cases, due to the imperfection of the technology, there may be incorrect phrase translations in the text, as well as single words and expressions may not be translated.
