The second volume of the Collected Works of Sergei Dovlatov is composed of four books: “The Zone” (“Notes of a Warden”) - a string of episodes from camp life in the Komi Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic; “The Reserve” is a story about the stay of a poor writer in the Pushkin Reserve; “Ours” - stories from the history of the Dovlatov family; “March of the Lonely” is a collection of articles about emigration from the weekly “New American” (New York), of which Dovlatov was editor-in-chief in 1980–1982.
The text of the book was translated from the original language using an artificial intelligence program. For the most part, the translation of the text is of very high quality, but in some cases, due to the imperfection of the technology, there may be incorrect phrase translations in the text, as well as single words and expressions may not be translated.
