The third volume of the Collected Works of Sergei Dovlatov includes: the book “Craft” (part one - “The Invisible Book”, part two - “The Invisible Newspaper”) - the story of two attempts to publish a book in their homeland and create an emigrant newspaper in the USA; the story “Foreigner” - the story of a Russian woman in New York; collection “Suitcase” - stories from Leningrad life; "The Refrigerator" is an unfinished book of stories, like "The Suitcase"; “From Stories of Last Summer” - three stories about the writing life in America, written in the summer of 1988.
