The first volume of the Collected Works of Sergei Dovlatov (1941–1990), a famous prose writer who lived in Leningrad until 1978 and in New York since 1979, includes his early prose, including stories from the collection “ Demarche of enthusiasts" and "Two sentimental stories" ("The Donkey Must Be Thin", "Another Life").
