Today it is difficult to publish Kruchenykh: republishing his books is one thing, but presenting hitherto unpublished works of the thirties-fifties for the first time is simply dangerous: lest Kruchenykh turn out to be even more incomprehensible and strange... Late Kruchenykh did not write abstruse poems, but but, with a mysterious grin, he rewrote classical literature... This work of his is very understandable in the context of the current debate about “postmodernism”; the great futurist turned out to be ahead of “the very first domestic postmodernists”... The text of the book was translated from the original language using an artificial intelligence program. For the most part, the translation of the text is of very high quality, but in some cases, due to the imperfection of the technology, there may be incorrect phrase translations in the text, as well as single words and expressions may not be translated.
