The book is an unfinished anthology of the Russian poetic avant-garde, compiled by the outstanding Russian poet, Chuvash G. Aigi (1934–2006). Conceived in the years when the legacy of the Russian avant-garde largely remained hidden, the book by G. Aigi to this day retains its value as a dialogue between a recognized successor of the traditions of the European and Russian avant-garde with his predecessors, and sometimes friends - such as A. Kruchenykh.G. Aigi, a world-famous poet and winner of numerous foreign and Russian literary awards, not only generously shares with the reader the texts of the poetic avant-garde of the early twentieth century, but also accompanies them with articles in which he combines the subtle observations of a master of verse and the breadth of knowledge of a literary historian who has worked for many years in the Moscow State Museum of V. V. Mayakovsky. The publication is supplemented by two articles by G. Aiga, adjacent in nature to the planned anthology, and other materials.
