Contains all the elements of difficult Irish happiness (Luck of the Irish): policemen, alcoholics, psychos, a child abandoned by parents, a shooting in the head, health problems, a state house, separation and a long journey .
The book is written in the “about life” genre. In simple, sometimes naive language. I liked it so much that I decided to translate it.
This is my first experience in literary translation. Constructive criticism is welcome.
The text of the book was translated from the original language using an artificial intelligence program. Книга "Запитаєш знову - відповім 'так'" Мері Бет Кін дійсно заслуговує на всі ті похвали, які вона отримала. Це не просто художня література, а глибоке дослідження людських доль, що переплітаються в складному світі, де кожен персонаж має свою унікальну історію. Авторка майстерно передає всі нюанси ірландського щастя, яке, попри всі труднощі, залишається в серцях героїв. Від поліцейських до кинутих дітей, кожен персонаж викликає співчуття і розуміння. Якість перекладу, хоч і має свої недоліки, не заважає загальному сприйняттю книги. Вона написана простою, але в той же час глибокою мовою, що робить її доступною для широкого кола читачів. Ця книга залишила в мені глибокий слід, і я рекомендую її всім, хто цінує справжні людські історії та емоційні переживання. Вона дійсно варта уваги!
