The action takes place approximately from the mid-70s to the present time. Contains all the elements of difficult Irish happiness (Luck of the Irish): policemen, alcoholics, psychos, a child abandoned by parents, a shooting in the head, health problems, a state house, separation and a long journey .
The book is written in the “about life” genre. In simple, sometimes naive language. I liked it so much that I decided to translate it.
This is my first experience in literary translation. Constructive criticism is welcome.
