M. Foucault’s book “Intellectuals and Power,” Part 2, is a continuation of the publication of selected political works by one of the major French thinkers of the 20th century, begun by Praxis publishing house in 2003. Part 2 collects articles, interviews, and roundtables from 1971 to 1982, in which Foucault continues to explore the questions that defined his work throughout his life: What is the relationship between power and knowledge embodied in modern legal institutions? What is “state interest”? And finally, what is modern political rationality, how did it arise, and how does it differ from the political models of the past? The text of the book was translated from the original language using an artificial intelligence program. For the most part, the translation of the text is of very high quality, but in some cases, due to the imperfection of the technology, there may be incorrect phrase translations in the text, as well as single words and expressions may not be translated.
