The second book of the novel by the outstanding Austrian writer Robert Musil (1880–1942) is not finished. This edition presents 38 chapters published in 1932, and another 14 chapters, the numbering of which is conventional, published posthumously by the writer’s widow in 1943. The second book centers on the moral quest of its main character, Ulrich.

Друга книга роману "Людина без властивостей" Роберта Музиля є справжнім шедевром, який занурює читача у складний світ моральних пошуків і філософських роздумів. Хоча книга не була завершена, це не зменшує її цінності. Ульріх, головний герой, постає перед безліччю питань, які стосуються сенсу життя, ідентичності та місця людини в суспільстві. Музиль майстерно малює картину соціальних і культурних змін, які відбуваються в Європі на початку 20 століття. Переклад, хоч і здійснений за допомогою штучного інтелекту, в більшості випадків вражає своєю якістю, хоча деякі фрази можуть бути не зовсім коректними. Це не заважає насолоджуватися глибиною думок автора і його вмінням передати емоції персонажів. Книга залишає по собі відчуття незавершеності, але саме це робить її ще більш інтригуючою. Рекомендую всім, хто цікавиться філософією, психологією та літературою, яка ставить питання, на які немає простих відповідей.
