The book brings together for the first time reviews, articles, essays, obituaries, transcripts and abstracts of oral speeches by Boris Vladimirovich Dubin in the 1990s–2010s, as well as statements about himself - a sociologist, translator, poet. The collection represents Dubin's reflections on Paul Celan, Walter Benjamin, Emil Cioran, Czeslav Milosz, Yuri Levada, Grigory Dashevsky, Elena Fanailova, Maria Stepanova, Mikhail Eisenberg, Oleg Yuryev and many other of his long-term interlocutors.
