Investigator Samsonov works in the serial murders department. When he was still a teenager, a maniac killed his older sister using an industrial waste disposal machine. The criminal - a certain Khobotov - was found in hot pursuit, convicted, and then finished off by his cellmates. And now, ten years after those tragic events, Samsonov is entrusted with the investigation of a terrible incident: a young woman was brutally murdered in an abandoned factory in a similar hydraulic recycling machine. Samsonov takes up the investigation and tries to find out whether this is an old maniac or a new one? Книга "Нежилець" стала для мене справжнім відкриттям у жанрі детективу. Сюжет настільки захоплюючий і напружений, що я не міг відірватися від читання. Історія слідчого Самсонова, який намагається розкрити жахливе вбивство, пов'язане з його власним минулим, викликає величезну симпатію та співчуття. Автор майстерно переплітає елементи психологічного трилера з кримінальним детективом, створюючи напружену атмосферу, яка тримає в напрузі до самого кінця. Хоча переклад тексту іноді має незначні недоліки, це не заважає насолоджуватися сюжетом і глибокими персонажами. Рекомендую цю книгу всім, хто любить інтригуючі детективи з елементами психології та драми!
