The collection of Lyubov LARKINA “Stranger” includes 177 poems and consists of five sections: “Oh, the land of sands and blue takyrs”, “...Victory will come over your loneliness”, “Wormwood cured us from ailments”, “After wandering around, I returned to the house,” “They are all lying to the people.” The title of the first section emphasizes the title of the book itself, which tells about the southern expanses, exotic beauties and features of our Earth, scorched by the merciless sun, about its meager nature and about human life in these conditions, calling on the local inhabitants to mobilize all their internal resources and mental strength. The second contains poems about eternal love and the worries that accompany it, overcoming loneliness and faith in women's happiness. The third is about human determination. The fourth is connected with the war - both past and present, which deeply wounded the author’s soul. The fifth contains a selection of poetic satire and irony on what our compatriots have to face.
