The fourth volume of the “Complete Yearly Circle of Brief Teachings,” compiled by Archpriest Grigory Dyachenko (1850–1903), includes teachings on all holidays and days of especially honored saints for every day from October to December (inclusive). The lives of the saints, undoubtedly, make it possible to teach in teachings all the most important dogmatic and moral truths, the knowledge of which, according to the rules of the Church, is obligatory for every Christian. And such a presentation of the dogmatic-moral teaching of the Orthodox Church is given in the teachings without any artificial exaggeration, as a direct and natural conclusion from the history of the holidays and the lives of the saints. These sermons are addressed to every Orthodox Christian to imitate the life and virtues of the saints, for each virtue, even taken separately , there is that path that leads us to the path leading to the Kingdom of Heaven.
