The book contains research and translations of monuments of Syrian medieval historiography, carried out by a famous domestic scientist, corresponding member. USSR Academy of Sciences, Professor N.V. Pigulevskaya (1894-1970). The author of several monographs on the history of Byzantium and the Middle East, N.V.
