The book by literary critic and poet Viktor Esipov, known to readers for numerous magazine publications and books about the work of A. S. Pushkin, as well as as the author of the book “The Four Lives of Vasily Aksenov” and the compiler of his posthumous publications, includes memories of famous writers and poets with whom he was lucky to be friends or simply communicate: Vasily Aksenov, Bella Akhmadulina, Vladimir Voinovich, Boris Balter, Benedikt Sarnov, Boris Birger, Nadezhda Mandelstam, Alexandra Volodin, Semyon Lipkin and Inna Lisnyanskaya, Valentina Nepomnyashchy.
