Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Vardia! A country whose terrain is so richly dotted with mountain ranges that many secluded places can only be reached by air. Such harsh geographical conditions were the reasons for the very active development of aircraft powered by propane and a special gas called aerium. Secluded mountain valleys seem to be ideal places for small towns to appear, like a magnet attracting all kinds of personalities, trying to avoid the annoying attention of the authorities. In such places, at every step you can meet pirates, smugglers and simply free mercenaries who are trying in any way to make ends meet and stay afloat. Darian Frey is the captain of the ship "Ketty Jay", the leader of a small and extremely useless gang of slackers. An incorrigible womanizer and robber, Darian makes a living on the wrong side of the law, trying to avoid encounters with the heavily armed flying frigates of the Coalition Fleet. Frey and his trio of goons—his crew—smuggle contraband, rob aircraft, and generally get themselves into a lot of trouble. A quick raid on a cargo ship loaded with valuables seems like a great way to get rich quick. However, all plans collapse when the cargo truck explodes. From this moment on, Frey turns from a minor pest into public enemy number one. Darian knows a secret known only to him - the explosion of the cargo ship was faked, and the captain himself was chosen as a scapegoat. Our hero will have to face liars and lovers, shootouts on land and in the air, with aristocrats and demons. To prove his innocence, Frey must use all his criminal talents...
