The collection of poems by Konstantin Vaginov, prepared by A. Gerasimova, was first published in 1998 by the Tomsk publishing house “Aquarius” and was the most complete at that time. In the present edition, this corpus is significantly expanded by adding an Appendix with early poems from the Brocade Notebook. The book includes a variety of literary and photographic materials dedicated to the life of the writer and his poetic activity. Great hopes were placed on him. Kuzmin, Gumilev, Adamovich, Mandelstam spoke well of his poems. He did not become an emigrant, was not repressed, and was even published - albeit in small editions. He died in poverty, aged thirty-five, by natural causes. With money allocated by the Writers' Publishing House in Leningrad, the widow erected a marble cross on his grave. The cross disappeared long ago, the grave in the devastated Smolensk cemetery was lost. They forgot about Vaginov for a long time.
