Tai Chi has become a popular system of knowledge and exercises not only in China, but also far beyond its borders. For many centuries, this art was kept secret and passed on only within family traditions. In the second half of the 20th century, it became available for the general public, however, most of the “secrets” of the Tai Chi system remained hidden from the uninitiated. The teachings of Tai Chi belong to the ancient system of knowledge, the main purpose of which was the spiritual revival and physical restoration of a person. In this regard, the main focus of the book is on massage in the light of the theory of internal energy. The first chapter is devoted to the fundamental principles of Tai Chi, and the internal aspects of the practice are discussed here - tuning the physical body and regulating the function of breathing. The second chapter provides a theoretical overview and examples of use 8 “main energies of space”. The initial complex of Tai Chi Qigong, the main recommendations for working with Qi, which includes “9 exercises and 13 principles of energy tuning” of the body, are presented in the third chapter. The fourth chapter introduces the categories of internal energies of Jin and biophysical structures of its accumulation. The fifth chapter provides a description of 12 Dao Yin exercises for the development of sensitivity, as well as an overview of three unusual mental-sensory types of internal energy. From the sixth to tenth chapters a description of 39 types of internal energy used in a variety of techniques massage of the countries of East and Southeast Asia. Tai Chi is the art of harmony, which has not only external softness and smoothness of movements, but also internal sophistication and great possibilities.
