Camus's notebooks from 1935 to 1959 are a kind of chronicle of the writer's life. The main characters in them are Camus's thoughts: naked, sincere and disturbing. What the absurdist, existentialist and Nobel laureate thought about himself and the world, about politics, literature and art? The reader has a unique opportunity to find out this first-hand, to see how the spontaneity of presentation, characteristic of the early period of Camus’s work, gives way to precision and power of thought. Here are collected unique notes, sketches of Camus's future works, from the time when he was not yet known in Europe, until he died in a car accident in 1960 at the very peak of his success. The publishing layout of the book is saved in PDF A4 format .
