New texts, “poems from the novel” “Gumilyov in Teriokki” (from the novel “Tabernacle” published in Neva magazine in 2010), poetic cycles “Polar Paths”, “Description of Photographs”, “Portraits” - this is composition of the thirteenth poetry collection by Natalia Galkina “Forgotten Paradise”. The title evokes the theme of a paradise - a gallery, the upper tier under the ceiling of a theater for the poorest of true connoisseurs of art. On the pages of this book, a Teriok meadow is woven into a wreath, textbook horsemen with a midget on a dog are galloping through the St. Petersburg haystacks, summer knows the name Electra, a small orchestra of the “Balkan style” passes by, reminding us that we are all children of paradise. © Natalya Galkina, text, 2011. © Arkady Pankevich, cover, 2011. © Elena Tsvetkova, photo, 2011.
