Polish writer Wladyslaw Reymont (1867-1925), Nobel Prize laureate (1924), is widely known in our country as the author of the social epics “The Promised Land” (1899) and “The Men” (1904). The novel “Vampire” offered to readers translated in Russia in 1911, after the October Revolution it was not reprinted.
