The power of breathing has been given great importance by spiritual teachings of all times and peoples. The author of this book is a prominent representative of the Tibetan Bon tradition, Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche, already well known to the Russian reader. He authoritatively and accessible to a Westerner explains the basics and then the nuances of two powerful practices - the Nine Cleansing Breaths and Tsa-Lung. Related to Indian pranayama and Chinese qigong, these exercises work on a more subtle level - the level of the mind. By engaging the five chakras and three energy channels, Bon practices help us change the way we think about ourselves, others, and the world, and solve problems rooted in our patterns of thinking and behavior—that is, a lot of them. Mastering these breathing exercises does not require deep knowledge of the philosophy of Buddhism or Bon, but in principle they were created as auxiliary spiritual practices and will be useful to those for whom Tibetan teachings have become a part of life.
