The course “Historical Geography of the Ancient World” is a kind of connecting link between the courses “Historical Geography of the Ancient East” and “Historical Geography of the Middle Ages”. This course, which is based on the author’s many years of teaching experience, offers students a systematic overview of the historical geography of the Greco-Roman ecumene - Africa, the Balkan Peninsula, Asia Minor, the Eastern and Western Mediterranean, as well as Northwestern Europe.
