If we compare Jana Žemoytelytė’s novel with anything, it is probably with a dramatic and smart television series, in which there is no causeless laughter behind the scenes, no fake sobbing fools. But there is a plot twisted by life itself (and oh, how she can do that!), and there is a heroine in whom you believe and who you are ready to love. Such films, in turn, are often compared to good books - they are, in fact, truly literary. What you have in front of you is a movie-book from which the reader “cannot tear himself away” (Alexander Kabakov). An amazing, beautiful, terrible love story, next to which there is certainly a place for envy, hatred, jealousy, and fear. And death, of course. But also light sadness, and the realization that life is still endless and wonderful as long as there is such love in it. Or at least hope for it.

Книга "Хороша була Танюша" Яни Жемотеліте - це справжній шедевр, який вражає своєю глибиною та емоційною насиченістю. Авторка майстерно створює образи персонажів, які стають близькими та зрозумілими, а їхні переживання - такими реальними, що неможливо залишитися байдужим. Сюжет закручується навколо складних стосунків, де кохання переплітається з заздрістю, ненавистю та страхом, але в той же час випромінює надію та світло. Кожна сторінка наповнена емоціями, які змушують читача замислитися над сенсом життя, кохання та втрат. Ця книга дійсно нагадує драматичний телесеріал, адже вона тримає в напрузі до останньої хвилини. Я б рекомендував її всім, хто шукає щось глибоке та зворушливе, адже "Хороша була Танюша" - це не просто історія, це справжня подорож у світ людських почуттів.
