After all, if a person refuses one of the main purposes - procreation, this means that ahead is the end of civilization, the end of culture, a cliff, black darkness. Many writers have tried and will continue to try to sum up the 20th century with its tragedy and upsurges of the human spirit, the results century, which showed people what the Holocaust was. And it seems that no one has been able to do it the way Imre Kertesz did it. And it was not for nothing that he was awarded the Nobel Prize.
