Poet Joseph Brodsky called Bella Akhmadulina “a treasure of Russian poetry.” Her work became one of the most striking and significant phenomena in Russian literature of the second half of the 20th century. This book includes selected works of the poetess, created by her over several decades. Of particular interest is the section in which, for the first time, poems dedicated to B. Akhmadulina’s friends and literary associates are collected.
