The novel became a continuation of the trilogy - “Lulu” and “Road to Tahiti”, dedicated to the 1990s and 2000s, are combined in the novel “Vacities of Fate”, and “Passing Time” describes the events of the 2010s. Although the current decade has not yet come to an end, there are circumstances that forced the author to hurry. If only because more important concerns can force you to put down your pen for a while and take care of pressing matters. According to the author, this book has nothing to do with reality - it is just a figment of his imagination, an attempt to explain in a form accessible to him what cannot be explained. The book tells how the main character suffers, realizing that he has exhausted his literary gift, and thinks that it is time to end his life, but suddenly gains new strength, because he is obliged to save his girlfriend from the hands of a lustful nobleman. Under the influence of these circumstances, he has the idea to engage in enlightenment of the mind and heart by founding his own publishing house, but insurmountable obstacles arise on this path.
