This novel completes the trilogy, the first two parts of which are presented in the book “The Hunt for the Minister.” However, the main character is also mentioned in the novel “Ward No. Z”, but that story has a very distant relation to real events. The novel was written based on a criminal case initiated several years ago against employees of one of the departments of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The author had to speculate a lot - otherwise it is difficult to explain why the honored general suddenly fell out of favor. The names and surnames of the characters, as well as most of the events described are fictitious, all coincidences are random.
