The book analyzes cases of plagiarism in the USA, Germany, France and Russia. Chapters one through nine focus on literature. Chapters ten to thirteen - painting, cinema, theater and music. Chapters fourteen to sixteen are for science. Chapter Seventeen - Industry. Chapter eighteen - politics. The last two chapters talk about the psychology of plagiarists. It should not be assumed that all the heroes of this book are notorious plagiarists. On the contrary, the author tried to prove that some denouncers were considerably overzealous in the fight for the purity of science and art.
