These include the statement that on March 2, 1917, Emperor Nicholas II voluntarily or under pressure from circumstances abdicated the throne. This statement has been perceived as an axiom since March 1917. The author proves on the basis of documents that in fact it was the result of a well-planned coup d'etat.
