In the work of the great Irish symbolist poet William Butler Yeats (1865–1939), two poetic movements merged - the Celtic Renaissance and English romanticism. A follower of Blake and Shelley, a student of the famous theosophist Blavatsky, Yeats studied the occult sciences all his life. But poetry remained the highest truth for him. This bilingual edition includes poems from all of Yeats's books - from the early lyrics to the Last Poems - translated by Grigory Kruzhkov. The Appendix includes the prose book `Per Amica Silentia Lunae`, in which Yeats outlined his poetic and philosophical credo. The publication is accompanied by a preface and extensive philological comments.
